Overall, a great build! The pieces were thick and snapped together easily. The directions were easy to follow. I just wish the lights were softer... the harsh white LEDs don't match the scene but still a lot of fun to build. I spent 4 hours to put this one together... it's my 12th.. I'm getting better with each one!

Very happy with my book nook, was quite challenging to build, not really one to start with, only thing I found not to my liking was their was no glue included, fortunately I have previously built another book nook so had spare glue, if you were new to building these this would be annoying.

One of the things i like as well is these sets lights are already for you to add without having to do the whole melting wrap etc on the wires

My wife found the kit very enjoyable to assemble and it looks great. Only downside was one side of the box had a double print of the viking ship each side, inverse, which was upside down and looked a little odd on the inside of the box. It was covered with the cloud material mostly, Probably should have been a different image??

The lights don't give the effect as in de video. The tower didn't fit well so i had to cut the spikes and use glue.. not really satisfied.

Still building it. I have found that I have had to glue numerous sections together especially the turrets as they were too loose in the connection points.

The top of the roof spires needed glued and held to not look wonky. The light leaking thru the slats on some of the structures where is is supposed to masonry was also less than stellar. Other than that, I loved it.

Unusual assembly makes it interesting. Huge amount of cloud material, use only enough for what you want to achieve. Good lengths on the LEDs but no "storm" action (you could probably add some flashing LEDs). Looks good.

This has been such a fun project! My mind can't get wrapped around how this 'puzzle' was made so precisely! I didnt like the fibers used for the storm clouds that were in the kitchen, so I swapped them out with natural and dyed wool roving that I had on hand. The directions were straight forward and easy to follow. Looking forward to doing more kits!

Voyage Through the Storm by Fifijoy was the perfect kit, and I LOVE the results. They look fabulous with my Sea of Trolls books by Nancy Farmer. The details are stunning, and it’s a perfect addition to my bookshelves.
