The birth of libraries can be traced back to around 2500 BCE in Sumer, Mesopotamia, where the first written language, cuneiform, was created. These early libraries were typically found in temples and served as archives for religious texts and administrative documents. As writing spread to other cultures, so did the concept of libraries. The ancient Egyptians built the famous library of Alexandria, which housed a vast collection of papyrus scrolls, and was renowned for attracting scholars from all over the world. Similarly, the Greeks established libraries, such as the Library of Athens, which contained works of philosophy, history, and literature. Since then, libraries have become centers of knowledge and play an important role in preserving and transmitting cultural heritage.

Inspired by some of the world's famous libraries, such as Biblioteca Joanina and Austrian National Library, we create the "Library of Books DIY Book Nook Kit".

Library of Books Book Nook Shelf Insert is perfect for creating a timeless and sophisticated elegant library space between your book collections.

Featuring a range of carefully-selected items,  Library of Books Booknook Kit's every single item is crafted with extravagant detailsdown to the touch.

The sheet music in the library is yellowed and old, and whenever I browse through it, I can almost hear the music echoing in the quiet halls of the library. Yes, if you bought the version with the music box, you would know that this piece of music is "Castle in the Sky".

In the library, a world map hangs on the wall, marking the boundaries of the vast and diverse planet we call home. Below the map, there is the masterpiece of the great Impressionist painter Claude Monet, "Impression, Sunrise", which depicts a beautiful sunrise over the port of Le Havre.

On the second floor mezzanine of the library, there are also shelves arranged to hold a variety of books and items. The design of the arched door gives the impression that the library extends further, creating a sense of mystery and space.

As I sit at the writing desk, the scent of aged books and fresh ink fills my nose, transporting me to another time and place. My eyes wander to the painting of Van Gogh's "Sunflowers". The vibrant colors and intricate brushstrokes remind me of the beauty that can be found in the simplest things.

The library is a treasure trove of knowledge and inspiration, with every corner offering a unique experience. Regarding the "Library of Books Book Nook Kit", if you would like to learn more, please click here. More details and surprises await your exploration.
