I have built many RC planes, boats, etc. This kit was BY FAR, the best manufactured kit I've ever built. the wood is sturdy, and laser cut to profection! the tabs left by the lawser cut are tiny and easily removablew from the panels without danger to the fine detail of the parts. the print registration is also spot on! half way throught the build, I started gluing everything. Although everything fits well and snug. I live in an area of extreemly dry winters and humid summers so I fully expect things to expand and contract. I used an Elmers Craft Bond glue applicator which provided a nice fine applicator which I followed up after assembling the joint with a cotton swab to remove any excess.
I purchased two kits (Home and Office) now that I have built the first, I am planning the second. I plan to add a small microprocessor to control the LED's to create flicker effects an on/off functions for each LED as well as adding a white LED to provide lightning effects. Thunder too? maybe....

A little tricky in spots to make pieces fit. had a couple breakage but easily fixed. All in all a great piece and easy to build. Lights don't show up as I was hoping they would. I give it a 4 out of 5.

I haven't had a chance to start the Haunted Mansion yet as I am having new windows installed throughout my home and life is pretty busy with that project. But I must say that all looks well. The lights work and the parcel arrived well packaged. I was very pleased that it came to me via courier, delivered to my door. I have mobility issues and getting to the mailbox is a chore I only do once a week, so loved the courier delivery. There was a delay in sending my order and when I enquired, I received several lovely emails from Fifijoy explaining the reason for the delay. Shortly thereafter the parcel was in the mail and on its way to me. I am very pleased overall with this transaction and the kit and will post pictures and another review when it's completed.

Great fun to make. I am on the last few sections now and have spent three evenings working on this so far.
The level of detail is amazing and the quality of the printed wood and artwork are excellent.
I like the ingenious way this has been lit and laid out, and your eye is drawn to so many different things it is very immersive fun to make.
I would agree that this needs a keen eye as well as nimble fingers and patience, with a few of the sections proving very tricky to make as written in the instruction book. I would say that some of the small pieces are a bit flimsy when trying to push them into the slotted bases and can bend or break, and sometimes the order in assembling an item isn’t always shown as the easiest one. I found making the little open spell book and the vat especially awkward when you are trying to fold adhesive paper and stick it back to back, and feel these parts could be designed better. Overall it is an excellent kit.

No glue in the kit and the book sticker that is meant to be folded was actually cut into individual pieces that I had to jerry-rig it to make it into a book. Other than that I LOVED putting this one together! Loved the spooky vibe! One of my favorites.

Amazing craftsmanship! A lot sturdier than I expected. Harkens back to the 70's and 80's model cars except this is for horror fans. Takes some time and patience to complete but the final product looks awesome!!!
